A bit of an update. I bought Velvet first on 12" vinyl - wonderful production and great tune. Because it is such a perfect piece it fully deserves this lavish 12" production. Shame Big Pink didn't continue their brilliance, the second album doesn't reach the same height.

The remixes of Velvet are also worth pursuing . . . they are on the Japanese only CD, This Is Our Time, also on some promos TB1 & TB6; and the uncatalogued promo with three remixes being the best one, including the Van Rivers & The Subliminal Kid remix.

Because they are one-hit wonders, lost in time, you can buy these gems cheap . . . with classic 4ad covers.
