Welcome, you Aliens
A very underrated underestimated piece of music. A wonderful score, ninety percent electronics (moog-1977!), a full range of strange, calm, weird or dark sounds, a bit like Tomita, Pierre Henry, Walter Carlos. The sequence when the humans start to communicate with the aliens by playing music is still one of the best moments in science fiction film.
Also a great sample source for moog or moog-like sounds.
Get it while it's cheap.
