Originally released as two separate LPs by Columbia Records in the USA in 1968:
Tracks 1 to 9 originally released as The Great Society With Grace Slick - Conspicuous Only In Its Absence.
Tracks 10 to 17 originally released as Grace Slick And The Great Society Vol. 2: Collectors Item - How It Was.

Previously combined as the double-LP Collector's Item From The San Francisco Scene in 1971.

This is a 1989 UK reissue of the same material, with a new title and different cover artwork.
