This 12" always baffled me! The only extended mix here is essentially a DUB mix. Dub versions were typically the B-side of a 12", accompanying an extended VOCAL mix. In this case, only the instrumental/dub was offered. A mistake.

I don't know why this states (Special Extended Dance Version), when the only vocals are "Don't You Want Me Baby" at the 4:40 mark. Please assist! I would like to own this song, but it must be an extended version with the full vocals. Thanks!

At a record store around 2000/2001, I was offered a current house remix with full vocals, but I passed on it! Of course, I've been regretting it ever since. Can't seem to find this copy either. Any suggestions? Thanks!

No. The style at the time of release was to release dub versions without much in the way of vocals. The only 12" single from "Dare" that had a conventional 12" extended version with vocals was "The Sound of The Crowd." That was just where producer Martin Rushent's head was at at the time. Back in 1982, I recorded my own edit mixing this 12" and the LP version. That's the only way to get what you want.
