The Mighty Diamonds - When The Right Time Come I Need A Roof FLAC album

The finest Jamaican harmonies ever was The Mighty Diamonds and this being their finest piece of work IMO

I've had a lot of luck with these low cost (generally around $11-14), Hit Bound distributed represses of Channel One roots classics, and this press of the Mighty Diamonds' "When The Right Time Come" is no exception. Given the cost, the cover reproduction is good, the pressing has minimal surface noise, and the sound is warm and clear. My only other copy of this recording is the "remastered" Virgin compact disc reissue from 2001, and this vinyl issue is vastly superior, rich and well defined where the cd is quiet, flat and muted. I can't recommend this highly enough to both the obsessed and the novice; thanks and praises to everyone who made available this unimpeachable classic triple threat of Revolutionaries grooves, just-right arrangements of memorably melodic tunes, and the warm harmonies of the Mighty Diamonds. If you like reggae, you need this album, and this reissue is a great way to get it inexpensively. The only minor downsides are some visible lumps in the less-than-audiophile quality vinyl, which fortunately don't seem to be audible, and a label on the b-side that slightly covers the run out groove at the very end, both faults that may be exclusive to my copy.
