The Model - Newly Found Voids FLAC album

This is such a fine piece of work. "Newly Found Voids" kicks the release off with an icy-cool touch that sets the pace and keeps itself moving.

But I gotta be honest - I can barely wait to get into "New Life, New Love". Again, crisp tones predominate the palate and are nicely woven into an emotive, brooding number that I'm likely to replay a few times before moving on to the next song when I'm listening.

I'd prolly give the first cut about a 4 to be honest, but "New Life" is just so goddamn fine that it brings the average way, WAY up over the top for this release. It really does give you the feel of having a new turn-on that you just can't WAIT to hook up with again and again.

I'm not a big fan of vocals, but "New Life" has some really strong pop sensibilities and with the right vocalist, it might make for an interesting remix somewhere down the road.
