Groll
For a long time I thought there are moods and atmospheres where only Luke Slater's mind can go with his impossible Planetary Assault Systems moniker. Then came this! The Surgeon remix is one of the best piece of art I ever heard or been recorded. It's an unspeakable void it takes you through listening to it... Unbeliavable!

I have to admit I kind of overlooked the sheer brilliance of Surgeon's track. Pure perfection in every possible way. Trippy hypnotic techno with the three dimensional industrial background undertones and a pulsating reverberating hook guarantee an aural journey like few out there at the moment. Maybe only that new Terence Fixmer/Claudio PRC record compares... I'm not sure though.Sound wise, it still has the unpolished industrial muscle of Those Who Do Not from "Breaking the frame", yet it's more accessible and laid back, if you will. Superb track.Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about Brian Sanhaji's track. The original Transducer is quite probably my favorite Traversable Wormhole piece, and Brian kills the original's intensity and steam train drive with an overly long, overly repetitious and flat minimal trip. Never taking off or taking the listener anywhere, it will most likely serve as an adequate tool, however, it will hardly get the recognition and play of Exiting The Milky Way (Surgeon Remix), which is just drop dead gorgeous.
