Formed by Mc Fio, Jorginho and Dj Grilo in São Paulo - and the dancers (b-boys) B- Boy Pulga, Krânio and Chacrinha -, the group released this record in 1995, at a time when, in the USA, in the air the first fights between East Coast and West Coast Rap groups, and the elements of hip-hop were completely separate - given that Rap, as a marketing product of the music industry, occupied a more prominent space theoretically , to the detriment of the B-boyng, Popping and Locking scenes, baptized by the media in the 80's for the expression "Break Dance".

So the group came up with this atmosphere, with the premise of bringing Rap and Breaking together, that is, the musical universe of the b-boys and Rap music of that moment. The album was recorded in Atelier Studio, being produced by Mad Zoo and mixed by Vander. In my opinion, the track record that embodied this spirit of the streets, the power of the vibe of Rap Music when it is accompanied by a true positive message and a direction for b-boys, is the track "Break é Emoção" This song speaks, among other things, about b-boys, their lifestyle and the importance of hip-hop culture in the imaginary of the people in the streets of the great world cities.

Certainly, this track had more impact and meaning to rescue, through the advent of the sample, an electro classic 80's: "Jam On Revenge" by Newcleus. The metrics, the rap verses of this União Break Rap song, were structured on the instrumental basis of this infamous 1983 classic - one of the essential records in the Old School Rap and Electro collections. So there's no doubt: this track is basically a portuguese version for the Newcleus classic. Obviously, not as good as the original, but served to give a new meaning to that timeless sound.
