All the shorts on the first part of side A are sprightly and warm, with much brass & beat, and could all have been good signature tunes for 70's daytime TV series or sitcoms. A7 is a superb easy bossa tune, but too short to stand alone. The second part of side A consists of more regal and solemn fanfare-like shorts, almost pure brass. Side B has a total of 7 "real" tunes (more than 2 minutes long) and some jingles. B6 is a kitschy hybrid of reggae and calypso, peculiar and interesting, with brass and band. B8 is a summer mood tune that sounds a bit like some Syd Dale stuff. Best tunes: A7, B1, B6, B8. The recording sounds good all the way.
