W.Jörg Henze - Aurora Borealis FLAC album

When one looks at the quantity of mr. Henze's output, it may, even if only for a second, occur to the casual visitor, that his day lasts approximately thirty six hours. Despite of an enormous back catalog, and a lot of music to go through, Aurora Borealis is one of his most well known and adored tracks along with Just Close Your Eyes. Rough, guerilla style techno with a deep bass line and an unmistakable, inimitable crazy melodic sequence. Something for the harder heads, with a very unique tranceish climax that throws the crowd into an instant frenzy. Think of tracks like Umek's Benozal, or Marco Bailey's Electronic Konfusion... A large, sweet break halfway through, with multiple passages getting ready to re-introduce the main lead only emphasize the track's effectiveness. The rest is nothing short of techno history.

Metamorphosis is just as classic (hard to believe), with an old school Detroit synth sweep reminiscent of Inner City's Good Life, or maybe even Bryan Zentz' dreamy D-Clash, or any of the similar loopy, bright stuff. The percussion is aided by finger snap like effects, and the endless loop atop, this is a center piece jewel for the peak time of the night, when you really don't want it to ever end...
Seriously, must you start anywhere with the man's output, make sure this is amongst the first five releases with his name on it that you get. This record has classic written all over it, and I do mean both sides!
