Wonder Who Ripped The Vinyl To make This Bootleg Mp3 Copy !

I think most of the time it will be down to a copyright issue. Many 90s Dance/Pop projects/artists no longer exist therefore record labels cannot hold the copyright of a certain song. It also could be that during acquisitions (from label to label) the copyrights were changed. And in most of the time, digital master of a certain track was not available (perhaps due to cost?) because the artist/project didn't want it. Btw, do you have CD single of Kiss me? I don't think it was ever released. Why isn't on Discogs then?

Had nothing but trouble with WAV downloads most are cleaned up vinyl (and not to a great standard)Some are MP3 lossy passed off as Lossless.I have Xeya on a CD and it's clearly from the master I'm lucky as it's rare to find in digital. But the CD is expensive even if it turns up at all.I cannot understand record companies is it sloppiness or down to cost or have they just destroyed all the original master tapes that the tracks was made from? And now all what is available are cd compilations and vinyl copies released at that time of release shame really losing parts of history but I'm sure all tracks ever released are in vaults somewhere gathering dust that will never again see the light of day.

This WAV release is only available to buy on Beatport website. And as per their policy only distributors can sign the contract. So a person like me or you would not be able to do it. It was done by a distributor or a label company. I own two tracks from this download, Extended Version and Hi Speed Guitar Mix and you can hear that the tracks were clearly sourced not from a digital source. Indeed someone has done a decent job cleaning all the pops and clicks on these tracks. However, compression is another issue on this release. This is still a good alternative to a rare 12" single.
