Promo-exclusive mono mix that was not available commercially until 2009.

White label promo.

No mention of "STEREO" directly left of the spindle hole on the labels. Rather the text "SAMPLE COPY NOT FOR SALE" appears in place of it.

The jacket is the same as a stock stereo jacket, but with the aforementioned stickers. It displays the stereo catalog number, SD 8245.

The labels display the unique mono catalog number, 8245 (no "SD" prefix).Odd Label Misprint With Catalog No.Above 'Stereo' Instead Of At Bottom Right Of Logo.

Of course this has to sound better, this is what I am talking about, If this was the case, why bother make common stereo prressings than make a mono promo that I didnt even know existed and have it become so rare and expensive. It just does not make sense. I can't tell you how many albums I am interested in have this sort of treatment. Its very infuriating!!!!

It just does not make sense. I can't tell you how many albums I am interested in have this sort of treatment. Its very infuriating!!!! This is apparently just a fold down. If you love the sound more than a regular stereo just flick the mono switch on your amp. I find it pretty funny that you like mono so much that even a fake mono sound makes it better though.

One day I hope the mono version of In The Court gets a reissue. I know this is a promo and everything but in my personal opinion this album sounds way better with the mono mix. The drums doesn't sound all over the place on 21st Century Schizoid Man and Moonchild is actually great without all that studio stereo magic. It's just a better experiences altogether than the stereo mix.I'm not much of an reissue guy but if (and this is a big IF) In The Court OF Crimson gets a mono reissue, I'll be one of the first few people to pick it up.

It showed up on one of the cd reissues but that cd is expensive. This mix is most likely a fold down. I’d love to hear a lossless vinyl rip of this pressing.
