The release was released as a free give away with the issue 109 (March 2009) of the German music magazine "Eclipsed" for art, prog, psychedelic, classic and hard rock.
The CD is divided in two parts. Tracks 1 to 5 are sample tracks from new CDs whereas tracks 6 to 11 are selected tracks from a top 100 ranking list of cover songs featured in the same issue of the magazine.
The CD comes with two versions of inlays: One for standard jewel cases and one for slim cases.
