Various - Octane Rating 2000.1 FLAC album

Bought this on a whim due to having a rating over 4 despite the poor quality releases on this label. Can confirm this is pretty rubbish, nearly all the tracks are relatively monotonous with no defining features. Would rather have spent the money on a sandwich

I'd agree with your comments in regards to this lackluster compilation, but I still think that the first Russian Roulette EP was an absolute scorcher on High Octane in particular the track Rough Trade, which closed out Dave Clarke's award winning Essential Mix back in 2000, and when played out was utterly devastating on the dance floor. Rush certainly knows how to crank his snares up to 11!
